Meow 46 / Laura Knight

I recently came across Laura Knight's work at a design market in London. I instantly fell in love with her Staffordshire Cat Cushions and drawings. Laura went to the Royal College and has enjoyed a successful career as an illustrator and teacher. Her gorgeous cat is called Ebby. Meow 45 / Lilly Piri

Lilly Piri is currently based in Heidelberg, Germany - but just about to move back to her native Australia.  I have loved her delicate pencil illustrations of dreamy girls, boys and animals for years, they are amazing! It was very difficult to pick only a few for this post, so you must promise to visit her website, blog and Etsy shop to see more! Her lovely cat is called Sam.

Meow 44 / JimbobArt

JimbobArt (aka James Ward) is an illustrator based in London, he creates an amazing range of original hand drawn ceramics. Each piece is 100% hand drawn and a one off. I love his painting of the Cat Doll shown above. More of his work can been seen on his etsy shop JimbobArt.Etsy.com. He doesn't currently own a cat but a customer recently sent him a photo of their cat because of the likeness to one of his cat plate designs. I think she makes a great model for his plate!

Tascha is an artist living in Toronto, Canada. She has been working as a full time artist since 2001. She sells her cute paintings on her etsy shop, to keep updated with her news take a look at her blog. Her lovely Siamese cat is called Lily.

KittyBabyLove is a small company run by Sara and Ben, who live in Portland. They sell a selection of kitty themed products from their Etsy shop, including these adorable upcycled Kitty Crayons and Beeswax Candles! Have a peek at their cute blog as well. Their beautiful cats are called Lulu (grey), Vasia (white) and Blaquan (black).

Mel Croft is an illustrator based in Brighton, UK. Her wonderful illustrations appear in magazines, books and advertising. She is represented by Eye Candy, where you can view more examples of her work. Her gorgeous ginger cat is called Cookie, she is a very soft and cuddly cat but doesn't like to sit on your lap!

Emily Martin is based in Portland, where she creates her adorable paintings, dolls and other wonderful treasures for her famous 'Black Apple' Etsy shop. Her amazing dolls usually sell out within minutes after being listed in her shop, so you have to be quick to snatch one up! Emily's beautiful cat is called Miette - check out the Black Apple Blog to see more pictures of him, her life and of course, her work!

Erin Wallace is a designer and printmaker living in Baltimore, where she recently graduated from the Maryland Institue College of Art. These amazing cat designs are available as Letterpress prints and pillows from her Etsy shop! Her beautiful cat is named Toaster.

Meow 38 / Mia Nilsson

Mia Nilsson is an artist and animator living in London. She came from Sweden and has been living in London for the past eleven years. I came across Mia's lovely work at the London Transport Museum where she won an award from the AOI for a competition called 'Cycling in London'. You can see more of Mia's work on her website. She shares her studio with her cat Grace who has the most gorgeous orange eyes!

Thereza Rowe lives in London with her two black cats Flash Rowe and Kitty Piccolina Rowe who like pink milk almost as much as she does. She creates beautiful mixed media illustrations - check out her lovely blog which is constantly updated with new wonderful projects, and don't forget to visit her shop, too!
