Anne Montel lives in a small city near Bordeaux in the south-west of
France. She creates beautiful watercolour illustrations and comics, makes little
wooden creatures, cooks lovely food and is amazingly prolific - as is
apparent from her blog. You can find some of her lovely creations in her Etsy Shop as well. I recently ordered her fantastic book Shä & Salomé (written by Loïc Clément) about a girl and her cat - it's absolutely brilliant, even if my French is limited and I can't understand everything yet. Anne's
black cat is called Minuit. Her childhood cats Pookie and Trinity
live with her father.
